Why Choose Us?

My husband and I took one of Olga's life drawing classes as a date night, and it was one of my favorite dates yet! Neither of us has drawing experience but we both felt like we improved greatly over the 2+ hr class. The class was for ages 10+ so there were some wonderfully talented children drawing right alongside us. The atmosphere was casual and friendly. The model was not nude, but wearing exercise clothes so you could work on body shapes, proportions and perspective well. Olga started us with a few 2-minute sketches and worked up to 20-minute sketches by the end of class. She gave us a quick (poignant and helpful) intro, and throughout the class would look at our work and give us helpful advice, techniques to try, etc. She didn't talk a lot, but when she did, it was very helpful. By the end of class, I wanted to try sketching every day. She made art feel so accessible to me, and not so intimidating. I can't wait to do another class and get my children into a few as well.
